Simple is an open source website I built to extend off of one of the CSS based navigation menus that I designed.  Its built entirely in W3C valid CSS and XHTML (strict), and is very lightweight.  Consisting of only 2 images and a simple color scheme it would be easy for anyone to download and use for a simple website.

The website was entirely my own creation, but I did use a technique known as the ‘faux column‘ image to create a left-border effect on the primary content div (without actually stretching the border from top to bottom like a css declaration of border-left:1px would have done).
